A great ancient mind

Biography - An Italian physicist, astronomer, and philosopher who is closely associated with the scientific revolution. His achievements include improvements to the telescope, a variety of astronomical observations, the first and second laws of motion, and effective support for Copernicanism. According to Stephen Hawking, Galileo has probably contributed more to the creation of the modern natural sciences than anybody else. He has been referred to as the "father of modern astronomy," as the "father of modern physics," and as the "father of science." The work of Galileo is considered to be a significant break from that of Aristotle.

Consideration for Ancientminds.com -
Too many theories and inventions to deny that Galileo was of an Ancient mind. He created the first working telescope, published theories on sun spots and astronomy, and wrote several books on society and religion. Einstein called Galileo the "father of modern science."
Ancient Uniqueness -
This is again a prime example of an over extraordinary and achieving monumental feats. This man was defiantly connected to some serious ancient knowledge. Not only that, but he wasn't afraid to publish his findings. Some of his works were "questionable" by Rome. So much so that he was confined for some time for publishing "Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief World Systems".
